Dromsky-Reed Elected to NJSBA Real Property and T&E Law Section Board of Consultors

 May 22, 2018 (Roseland, NJ)Brach Eichler LLC has announced that Susan Dromsky-Reed, a Member in the firm’s Trusts & Estates, Tax and Family Law Practice areas, has been elected to the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Real Property Trust & Estate Law Section Board of Consultors.  The Board of Consultors is responsible for reviewing potential legislation and making recommendations for legislation and regulations to the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Bar Association.

“Susan will most certainly be a valuable addition to the NJSBA’s Real Property Trusts and Estates Board of Consultors,” said John D. Fanburg, Managing Member of Brach Eichler.  “She is highly regarded and extremely knowledgeable about trust and estate and family-related matters.”

Dromsky-Reed, a resident of Kinnelon, concentrates her practice in estate planning and estate administration. As part of her practice, she provides individuals and families with advice regarding spousal, intergenerational, business succession, and charitable planning. Susan is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

A frequent author and guest speaker, Dromsky-Reed was admitted as a fellow to the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel in November 2015. The College represents a group of 2,600 trust and estate lawyers and law professors in the U.S. that have been elected by their peers based on their outstanding reputation, exceptional skill, and substantial contributions to the field by lecturing, writing, teaching and participating in bar activities. In addition, she was named to the New Jersey Super Lawyers list for 2017 and 2018.

Dromsky-Reed is involved in several professional activities.  She is a member of the board and chairs the Scholarship Committee of Executive Women of New Jersey; is a member of the Real Property Trusts and Estates  Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association; is a trustee of the Essex County Estate Planning Council, and is a member of the American Bar Association.

She earned a J.D., with honors, from George Washington University School of Law; an LL.M. from New York University, and a B.A., magna cum laude, with honors in mathematics, from Hamilton College.
