Environmental and Land Use Alert: Register Permits Now Under Permit Extension Act of 2020

Registration for permits to be extended under the Permit Extension Act of 2020 is required and is now open. Under the Act, permits are not automatically extended as they had been with prior Extension Acts, but must be registered with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). This applies to all permits extended, including non-DEP permits. Applicants have until October 8, 2020 to register a permit or it will not be extended. Holders of an approval asserted to be covered by the Act shall register such approval by providing information specified at www.nj.gov/dep/pea2020.
