Ryan E. Kotler is an Associate in the Litigation Department representing individual clients, regional and national corporations, and state governmental entities in complex commercial and contractual disputes, including class actions, corporate governance and shareholder litigation, and intellectual property litigation.

Mr. Kotler’s experience includes researching and drafting advisory memos for corporations to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, and drafting documents relating to all stages of litigation for matters venued in various state and federal jurisdictions, including pleadings, pre-and post-trial motions, dispositive motions, settlement agreements, and multiple successful emergent briefs supporting and opposing orders to show cause. He has assisted partners in preparing for emergent hearings, depositions, trials, and court conferences, and attended multiple proceedings.

Prior to joining Brach Eichler, Mr. Kotler was an Associate at a Firm in Newark NJ and a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation and Cannabis Law Practice Groups.

Mr. Kotler served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Francis J. Vernoia, J.A.D., in the Superior Court of New Jersey – Appellate Division, where he performed legal research, analyzed applicable legal theories, and drafted bench memoranda and official judicial decisions concerning appeals in civil, criminal, family and administrative matters. Mr. Kotler also assisted the court in preparing for oral arguments and processing emergent motions.

Mr. Kotler received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Rutgers Law School in Newark, NJ, and his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
